Spicey Chili

I made this with 99% fat free turkey. It's good with ground beef too. I also used Dream Fields low carb pasta. Having noodles in the dish is optional too. The jalapenos for heat is optional too.

Ingredients:

Ground Turkey 99% fat free. 1 pound.

1 16 oz can diced tomatoes with jalapenos

48 oz tomato sauce.

3 large jalapenos: Sliced

1 medium onion: Diced

About 2 to 3 oz Dream Fields low carb spaghetti noodles

Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder

Cooking:

Brown the turkey in a nonstick pan sprayed with cooking spray. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. When the meat is browned add the jalapeno and onion and cook for about 2 minutes more. You are not trying to cook the onion and pepper, just adding some flavor to the meat. Put this in the crock pot and add all the other ingredients except the noodles. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder. Cook on high for for hours. About 20 minutes before it's done add the pasta. I break the pasta into quarters.

Use less jalapenos if you want it milder, or add some cayanne powder if you want it spicier. You can leave out the noodles. I make it both ways.

I specify the Dream Fields Low Carb Pasta because it's the only low carb pasta in my area and available in the local supermarkets. It only has 4 grams of carbs per serving. I can't taste the difference between it and regular pasta.
